Ada livestock sales reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 2,400 head Sept. 30, compared to 2,000 head last week and 2,707 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were steady. Feeder heifers were $2 to $3 lower. Demand was moderate to good on all classes. Quality and weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium to fleshy. The supply included 39% heifers and 31% over 600 pounds.
