Ada livestock auction reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 1,785 head Oct. 28, compared to 2,700 head last week and 1,514 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady to $3 higher. Demand was good on all classes. Quality was average to attractive. Weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium to fleshy. The supply included 40% heifers and 25% over 600 pounds.
