Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were $1 to $3 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady. Trade and demand were good. The bulk of the supply were Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 300- to 900-pound feeder steers and heifers. Slaughter cows and bulls made up 2% of the offering, replacement cows less than 1%, and feeders 97%. The feeder supply included 62% steers, 1% bulls and 37% heifers, with nearly 55% of the run over 600 pounds.
