Compared to the sale two weeks ago, based on a narrow test steers and heifers trended steady. Demand and trade activity were moderate to good. The total receipts consisted of 47% steers and 53% heifers, with 39% of the total offerings weighing over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and Large 1, 5 head, 436 lbs., 118.25; 466 to 477 lbs., 111.00 to 118.00 (115.09); 505 to 515 lbs., 105.25 to 110.75 (110.09); 557 to 592 lbs., 94.50 to 102.75 (99.87); 605 to 647 lbs., 90.00 to 98.00 (94.79); 706 to 742 lbs., 92.00 to 95.50 (94.83); 47 head, 840 lbs., 94.25.
