South Central direct sheep

The South Central Direct Sheep sales for the week ending Oct. 30, showed receipts of 600 head, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News, San Angelo, Texas.

Trading was at a near standstill. The higher prices from the slaughter interests has brought trading to a near stand-off. There were no slaughter lambs, slaughter ewes, replacement ewes or slaughter meat goats.

Feeder lambs: Texas, 600 head, Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 70 lbs., 108.00. Medium and large frame 2, 90 lbs., 90.00.
