Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales reportThe Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., Nov. 19, reported estimated receipts of 1,500 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, in a very light test, steers at 450 to 600 pounds were steady to $3 higher, 600 to 850 pounds were steady to $2 lower, and 850 pounds and over were not tested. Heifers at 400 to 600 pounds were steady to $6 higher, 600 to 750 pounds were steady to $2 lower, and those at 750 pounds were not enough for comparable sales. Steers at 450 pounds and under and heifers at 400 pounds and under were not tested as of 3 p.m. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 400 to 450 lbs., 111.00 to 112.00; 450 to 500 lbs., 105.75 to 108.00; 500 to 550 lbs., 104.00 to 109.50; 550 to 600 lbs., 96.50 to 102.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 90.00 to 92.85; 800 to 850 lbs., 91.00 to 94.75; 900 to 950 lbs., 84.00 to 89.00. Calves, 600 to 650 lbs., 92.00 to 94.50; 650 to 700 lbs., 84.25 to 91.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 87.00 to 90.00. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 39 head, 419 lbs., 102.00; 5 head, 477 lbs., 99.00; 500 to 550 lbs., 89.50 to 93.00; 600 to 650 lbs., 83.75 to 84.25; 650 to 700 lbs., 84.50 to 84.60; 10 head, thin 770 lbs., 87.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 82.75 to 84.50; 900 to 950 lbs., 83.50 to 84.75; 950 to 1000 lbs., 83.00 to 83.25. Calves, 650 to 700 lbs., 80.50 to 82.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 82.00 to 85.00.
