Joplin livestock auction reportThe Joplin Regional Stockyards, Joplin, Mo., reported receipts of 4,134 head Nov. 16, compared to 6,215 head last week and 7,379 head last year, according to the Missouri Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News Service, Jefferson City, Mo. Compared to last week, yearling steers and steer calves were steady to $1 lower, yearling heifers and heifer calves were $1 to $3 lower. Demand and supply were moderate. The feeder supply included 58% steers, 36% heifers, 6% bulls, with 46% over 600 pounds.
