Presho livestock sales reportThe Presho Livestock Auction, Presho, S.D., reported receipts of 1,360 head Nov. 12, compared to 5,653 head last week and 2,190 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold steady. Potloads were not as prevalent this week. The offering included 69% steers, 31% heifers, with 21% over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 17 head, 409 lbs., 118.00; 472 to 486 lbs., 106.50 to 110.00 (108.72); 102 head, 451 lbs., 117.25 fancy; 516 to 549 lbs., 99.75 to 106.75 (102.97); 125 head, 520 lbs., 110.25 fancy; 563 to 598 lbs., 98.00 to 104.00 (101.90); 601 to 642 lbs., 94.50 to 99.75 (97.24) calves; 55 head, 612 lbs., 100.25 fancy; 49 head, 663 lbs., 97.25 calves; 8 head, 729 lbs., 85.50 calves. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 13 head, 444 to 448 lbs., 107.25 to 107.50 (107.35); 32 head, 477 lbs., 100.00; 13 head, 519 lbs., 94.25; 16 head, 552 lbs., 93.50. Medium frame 1 to 2, 12 head, 372 lbs., 103.50.
