Colorado feeder cattle summaryThe Colorado Auction Feeder Cattle Summary, Greeley, Colo., reported receipts of 18,003 head Nov. 13, compared to 14,507 head last week and 14,369 head last year, according to the USDA-Colorado Department of Agriculture Market News, Greeley, Colo. Compared to last week, steer calves under 600 pounds unevenly steady, while those over 600 pounds were $1 to $2 lower. Heifer calves were unevenly steady with a lower undertone prevailing. Feeder steers over 700 pounds were $3 to $4 higher. Feeder heifers over 700 pounds were $1 to $2 higher. Demand and market activity were moderate. The supply was made up of 59% feeder steers, and the balance feeder heifers, with nearly 29% of total feeder supply was over 600 pounds.
