The "ProSpear" is a flatbed bale handler that incorporates two spears into a flush-mounted lifting mechanism at the rear of the bed to lift and transport one round bale at a time. "Aside from the proven strength the hinges provide, the location of these in relationship with the deck of the bed also achieves a lower lifting point. This is an important feature because it ensures lower bale penetration which, in turn, allows the operator to securely lift the bale onto the deck," Russell said.
