Compared to last week, slaughter cows were steady. Slaughter bulls were $1 higher. Feeders were mixed, generally steady to $3 higher with some yearling steers $5 to $7 higher. The supply included about 516 feeder calves, 300 feeder yearlings, 40 replacement cows, 69 slaughter cows, 9 slaughter bulls, and 1 replacement bull. The feeder supply included 46% steers, 44% heifers, and 10% bulls, with nearly 51% of the run over 600 pounds. Slaughter cows: Breakers, 75 to 80% lean, 1000 to 1500 lbs., 44.00. Boners, 80 to 85% lean, 950 to 1400 lbs., 39.00 to 43.00; high dressing, 43.50 to 46.25. Lean, 85 to 90% lean, 900 to 1300 lbs., 37.00 to 41.00; high dressing, 42.00 to 45.75; low dressing, 28.00 to 33.00.
