Apache livestock sales reportThe Apache Livestock Auction, Apache, Okla., reported receipts of 2,328 head Oct. 22, compared to 2,239 head last week and 2,647 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were $1 to $2 higher. Feeder heifers were $1 lower. Steer calves were steady to $2 lower. Heifer calves were $4 to $5 lower. Demand was moderate for calves and good for yearlings. The supply included 53% over 600 pounds and 48% heifers.
