Ada livestock auction reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 2,575 head Oct. 21, compared to 1,600 head last week and 2,341 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady. Demand was moderate to good on all classes. Quality and weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium to fleshy. The supply included 40% heifers and 24% over 600 pounds.
