Pratt 3 p.m. cattle salesThe Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., Nov. 12, reported estimated receipts of 1,200 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, in a very light test, steers at 450 to 550 pounds were $4 to $9 lower, 550 to 700 pounds were not tested, and 700 to 900 pounds were steady to $2 lower. Heifers at 450 to 600 pounds were $3 to $6 lower, 600 to 700 pounds were not tested, 700 to 750 pounds were $1 to $3 lower, and 750 to 850 pounds were steady to weak. Steers and heifers at 450 pounds and under were not enough for a market test as of 3 p.m. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 500 to 550 lbs., 102.00 to 106.00; 550 to 600 lbs., 91.50 to 94.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 93.25 to 94.35; 800 to 850 lbs., 93.00 to 94.35; 850 to 900 lbs., 92.10 to 92.35; 32 head, 921 lbs., 91.00. Calves, 600 to 650 lbs., 94.25 to 101.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 89.50 to 92.00; 8 head, 730 lbs., 89.00; 10 head, 757 lbs., 88.00. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 350 to 400 lbs., 96.00 to 100.00; 450 to 500 lbs., 91.00 to 92.00; 500 to 550 lbs., 86.75 to 87.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 84.50 to 85.85; 750 to 800 lbs., 82.00 to 84.50. Calves, 7 head, 600 lbs., 85.25; 5 head, 731 lbs., 84.50.
