Superior video auction reportThe Superior Video Auction reported offerings of 30,700 head Nov. 6, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Amarillo, Texas. Compared to the last sale, the supply was moderate, trade light to moderate, and demand moderate for yearlings while only light to moderate for calves. The supply included 47% feeder steers and heifers over 600 pounds, 55% of supply was steers and 45% heifers, with bred stock consisting of approximately 5%. Prices were FOB based on net weights after a 2 to 3% pencil shrink or equivalent, with a 3 to 6 cent slide on yearlings and 4 to 10 on calves. Deliveries current through March 2010.
