Carlson to close the 2009 Nebraska Ag Classic Conference; pre-registration deadline coming soon

The fifth annual Nebraska Ag Classic will be held at the Cornhusker Marriott Hotel in Lincoln , Neb., Dec. 1 to 3. Closing this year's conference will be Nebraska State Senator Tom Carlson. Senator Carlson also serves as Chairman of the Agriculture Committee. The senator will be discussing timely agriculture issues that are affecting the state and taking questions from the conference attendees at the closing luncheon Dec. 3.

Senator Carlson is completing his third legislative session, having been elected in November 2006. He represents the 38th Legislative District and his hometown is Holdrege, Neb. Senator Carlson currently chairs the Agriculture Committee and serves on the Natural Resources and Business and Labor Committees. He is a former member of the Banking, Commerce and Insurance Committee.
