South Central direct sheep sales

The South Central Direct Sheep sales report for the week ending Nov. 6, showed receipts of 1,100 head of sheep, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News, San Angelo, Texas.

Compared to last week, feeder lambs were firm to $5 higher. There were no slaughter lambs, slaughter ewes, replacement ewes, or slaughter meat goats. Pressure from slaughter interests advanced prices paid for lambs in the country.

Feeder lambs: Texas, 1100 head, Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 70 lbs., 104.00 to 110.00.
