LINCOLN, Neb. (AP)--The Nebraska State Patrol is encouraging drivers to be especially wary of farm equipment on the roads, now that spring has arrived and field work is underway.
The patrol says those operating the equipment must move to road shoulders to let faster vehicles pass. The patrol also says tractors and other farm implements on the road should be equipped with flashing yellow caution lights.
Other drivers must be cautious when approaching, following or passing farm equipment. The equipment's size and design angles often limit driver visibility.
