Woodward livestock auction report

The Woodward Livestock Market, Woodward, Okla., reported receipts of 5,500 head May 15, compared to 3,384 head last week and 9,150 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla.

Compared to last week, feeder steers were steady. Feeder heifers were steady to $1 higher. Stocker steers were $1 to $2 higher, steer calves were steady. Heifer calves were steady. Demand was good for all classes. Fill was average to full. The supply included 83% over 600 pounds and 32% heifers.
