Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., May 21, reported estimated receipts of 3,000 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers 750 to 900 pounds were firm to $2 higher, heifers 700 to 950 pounds were $1 to $3 higher. Feeder steers and heifers 700 pounds and under too few for a market test, strong undertone.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 700 to 750 lbs., 102.00 to 107.25; 750 to 800 lbs., 97.75 to 102.60; 800 to 850 lbs., 94.35 to 99.85; 850 to 900 lbs., 90.00 to 97.50, 900 to 950 lbs., 92.10 to 93.25; 950 to 1000 lbs., 89.50 to 90.50.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 100.00 to 104.60; 18 head, 691 lbs., 97.50; 700 to 750 lbs., 93.50 to 97.75; 750 to 800 lbs., 93.10 to 94.60; 800 to 850 lbs., 90.25 to 92.00; 850 to 900 lbs., 87.50 to 89.50; 900 to 950 lbs., 88.00 to 88.85.
