Dunlap cattle sales reportThe Dunlap Livestock Auction, Dunlap, Iowa, reported receipts of 2,031 head May 15, according to the Iowa Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Des Moines, Iowa. This was Dunlap's feeder calf and yearling sale. Compared to two weeks ago, steers at 400 to 550 pounds were $5 to $10 higher, and 550 to 900 pounds were $2 to $4 higher. Heifers were $2 to $10 higher. This was a very active market, with moderate supply and very good demand. The receipts included 54% heifers and 44% steers, with 64% over 600 pounds.
