DEADWOOD, S.D. (AP)--Lawrence County Commissioners have voted to take legal action against a Spearfish cattle company's feedlot.
The commission declared the site, owned by the Two-Tone Cattle Company, a nuisance after the county lowered the property valuation for Alan and Marla Loken, who live next to it.
The Lokens have complained about a foul smell, flies and threats to groundwater supplies on their property.
Two-Tone is owned by Bart Krautschun and Harvey Krautschun, who was the 2002 running mate of GOP gubernatorial candidate Steve Kirby.
