South Central direct sheep

The South Central Direct Sheep sales for the week ending Feb. 27, showed receipts of 900 slaughter meat goats, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, San Angelo, Texas.

Feeder Lambs, trading at a standstill in the area. Supplies are limited and both buyers and sellers are taking a wait and see attitude. There were not feeder lambs, slaughter lambs, slaughter ewes, and replacement ewes, Slaughter meat goats, kids, no recent comparison. Replacement goats, were not tested.

Slaughter meat goats: Kids, Texas, 900 head, Selection 1 to 2, 55 lbs., 125.00. Selection 2, Angoras, 45 lbs., 118.00.
