Saddle up for big opportunities at Commodity ClassicIn two weeks, soybean, corn, wheat and sorghum growers from around the country will gather at Commodity Classic in Grapevine, Texas, for an experience that will educate, enlighten and entertain. It's an event that provides benefits for a grower's farm operation and profitability for years to come. The 14th Annual Commodity Classic will help growers "Discover Bright Horizons" by offering educational sessions on topics such as managing risk, what end-users look for from crops, U.S. energy independence, farm financial strategies and nitrogen strategies for a new millennium. Approximately 25 educational sessions covering issues impacting the agriculture industry will be available to attendees. A sold-out trade show will add even more value to Commodity Classic. This year's trade show is the largest in Commodity Classic history, with more than 230 companies in more than 940 booths, displaying the latest in cutting-edge products and services. Attendees will learn new strategies to increase their bottom line, including everything from getting the most out of every acre to managing risk. "There's no better place than Commodity Classic to learn so much about new products and technologies," said Commodity Classic Co-chair Steve Yoder. "It's also a great opportunity to network and gather with fellow producers and agribusiness leaders from every stop along the commodity production line." The Commodity Classic grand finale will be the Evening of Entertainment on Feb. 28. Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter Pam Tillis will delight the crowd with a performance. Riders In The Sky will also be on hand to entertain. America's favorite cowboys will make attendees kick up their heels in laughter when Ranger Doug, Too Slim, Woody Paul and Joey the Cowpolka King take the stage. Commodity Classic, to be held Feb. 26 to 28, is the premier convention and trade show of the U.S. corn, soybean, sorghum and wheat industries.
