Pratt 3 p.m cattle sales

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., March 5, showed estimated receipts of 6,500 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers at 600 to 900 pounds were weak to $2 lower. Heifers at 450 to 700 pounds were $2 to $5 lower, and 700 to 900 pounds were weak to $3 lower. Other weights were not established of 3 p.m.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 94.50 to 97.75; 25 head, 686 lbs., 95.10; 700 to 750 88.00 to 93.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 88.00 to 91.85; 800 to 850 lbs., 84.85 to 90.00; 850 to 900 lbs., 82.00 to 88.00; 900 to 950 lbs., 82.60 to 82.85; 950 to 1000 lbs., 81.00 to 82.00; 50 head, 1027 lbs., 81.60.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 450 to 500 lbs., 96.50 to 98.00; 500 to 550 lbs., 89.50 to 96.50; 550 to 600 lbs., 84.00 to 85.00; 600 to 650 lbs., 85.00 to 91.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 84.00 to 89.85; 700 to 750 lbs., 83.00 to 87.25; 750 to 800 lbs., 81.75 to 87.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 82.10 to 82.85; 850 to 900 lbs., 80.50 to 83.10; 17 head, 955 lbs., 79.50.
