Garfield County Farm Bureau, conservation district announce partnershipOklahoma As part of their ongoing effort to support local farmers, ranchers and other landowners, the Garfield County Farm Bureau and the Garfield County Conservation District Feb. 26 announced their partnership on acquiring an 8.5 yard dirt scraper to be available for rent to local producers. "We're excited about this partnership between Farm Bureau and the local Conservation District," Gray Johnson, President of the Garfield County Farm Bureau said. "By working together, we can help Garfield County landowners better address some of the natural resource issues on their land." The scraper, purchased by the Farm Bureau, will be maintained and administered by the Garfield County Conservation District. Landowners will be able, for a minimal fee, to rent the scraper to do needed improvement on their land. "Whether its building terraces, repairing gullies, or working on waterways, this scraper will really help," Dale Milacek, Chairman of the Garfield County Conservation District said. "We really appreciate the Farm Bureau working with us to provide this service to the producers of our county. Working together in projects like this helps all of us who care for the land."
