The South Central Direct Sheep sales for the week ending March 13, showed receipts of 300 feeder lambs, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News, San Angelo, Texas.
Compared to last week, a few sales were steady. Interest and demand was moderate. There were no slaughter lambs, slaughter ewes, replacement ewes or slaughter meat goats. Rainy weather throughout the area slowed trade.
Feeder lambs: Texas, 300 head, Selection 1 to 2, new crop 60 to 80 lbs., 120.00 to 122.00.
