AgriLife Extension agent transfers to Burnet CountyTexas Leticia Ezell Rasmussen will become the new Texas AgriLife Extension Service family and consumer sciences agent for Burnet County on March 2. The joint announcement was made by Burnet County Judge Donna Klaeger and Scott Durham, AgriLife Extension administrator in San Angelo. "Since Leticia is transferring to Burnet County from Martin County, I've had the good fortune to see first-hand the excellent work she is capable of," Durham said. "She has demonstrated the flexibility, strong people skills and drive that is so necessary for successful educational programming in today's fast-growing Texas Hill Country." Rasmussen earned a bachelor's of science in human development and family studies from Auburn University and a master's of arts in religion from Abilene Christian University at Abilene. She has been the AgriLife Extension agent for family and consumer sciences in Martin County since 2004. Rasmussen fills the position previously held by Norma Cardona who resigned last July.
