AAW to update policy at April meeting in St. Louis

American Agri-Women leaders from throughout the United States will meet in St. Louis, April 3 to 5, to update their positions on legislative and regulatory policy for the year. These positions will be discussed with policymakers and members of Congress during the annual AAW Legislative Fly-In to Washington, D.C., to be held June 7 to 10. While there, First Vice President Chris Wilson will be hosting a session for committee chairs, affiliate presidents and AAW members who want to learn how to put their information on the Internet. AAW has a grant from Risk Management that will assist in training for those who want to be more efficient in promoting their agriculture business through the Internet. With training, AAW affiliates and committee chairs will also be able to link their information onto the AAW site.

For more information, contact Marcie Williams, president, by e-mail at president@americanagriwomen.org, or visit the website at www.americanagriwomen.org.

American Agri-Women is the nation's largest coalition of farm, ranch and agribusiness women, with 50 state, commodity, agribusiness affiliate organizations and collegiate chapters throughout the country. AAW is a volunteer organization, working to provide true information about agriculture to the public since 1974.
