Farmers--are you interested in learning the latest research based information on growing grain sorghum? Then you won't want to miss a Grain Sorghum Production School being conducted by K-State Research and Extension March 3 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Hays Agriculture Research Center Auditorium basement, 1232 240th Ave., Hays, Kan.
Topics of discussion include general production practices for best results, seeding rate, row width, and fertility, herbicides, pest control, diseases and crop production expenses. As always, there will be time for questions and discussion.
The program is free to attend, but a minimum of 10 people pre-registered is necessary in order to hold the event. Please RSVP by March 2 by calling the Ellis County Extension Office at 785-628-9430.
