Cowboy Ball offers elegant evening with a western flair

Colorado

The Colorado State Fair's "Cowboy Ball" offers a full evening of festivities while honoring Colorado's rodeo tradition. The ball will be held on April 24, at 7 p.m., at the Colorado State Fair Events Center.

During the event, party goers can get dressed up to enjoy a catered dinner by Classic Catering, a live auction, a performance by Trailer Choir, and good old-fashioned dancing. To top off the festivities, the 2009 Colorado State Fair entertainment lineup will be announced. Attendees will also receive a ticket to the Aug. 30, PRCA rodeo. Plus, they will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets to Colorado State Fair ticketed events and will receive a $5 discount on each ticket.

Trailer Choir's own unique blend of real life sing-along style and energy brings a high-def picture to a backyard barbecue. The songs are about livin' life and havin' a cold drink with your best friends. Their highly anticipated new single, "What Would You Say," is quickly becoming a fan favorite.

Tickets to the Colorado State Fair's Cowboy Ball go on sale Feb. 10, and cost $50 each, or tables seating eight can be purchased for $400. Tickets can be purchased at the Colorado State Fair box office, any Ticketmaster outlet, or by logging onto www.ticketmaster.com. To charge tickets by phone, call 1-800-745-3000 or 719-520-9090. Colorado State Fair rodeo committee members will also be selling tickets.

Each ticket holder also receives a ticket to attend the PRCA Rodeo on Aug. 30. That's a two for one deal. The 2009 Colorado State Fair runs from Aug. 28 to Sept. 7. For more information, visit www.coloradostatefair.com.
