The annual Bent-Prowers Cattle and Horse Growers Association will mark the start of its 140th year with its annual meeting and banquet. Events will be held at the Chuck Wagon Inn in Rocky Ford. The meeting is open to the ranching community.

Registration begins at noon and the business session starts at 1 p.m., with association and legislative summaries. Representative of the departments of agriculture, brand inspection, forest service and wildlife, as well as the Colorado Beef Council, Colorado Cattlemen's and Colorado CattleWomen's associations are expected to provide updates.
