MSGA seeks advertisements and listings for 2009-2010 Seedstock and Commercial Cattle DirectoryMontana The Montana Stockgrowers Association is currently accepting advertisements and listings for the 2009-2010 Montana Seedstock and Commercial Cattle Directory. The directory features ads and listings highlighting Montana's commercial feeder cattle, commercial replacement females, seedstock producers and associated services. The deadline for receiving advertisements is March 20 and the deadline for listings is April 10. The Montana Seedstock and Commercial Cattle Directory is distributed state-wide and nationally during the year at various cattle sales and over 1,000 feedlots. The directory is available at most livestock auction markets in Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Idaho, as well as Montana County Extension offices, sire services, and agribusinesses in the state. This year, MSGA had a booth at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, the Cattle Industry Annual Convention and Trade Show in Phoenix, and the Northern International Livestock Exposition in Billings, to distribute the directory. "The Montana Seedstock and Commercial Cattle Directory has been the premier cattle directory in the United States for 18 years," said Darrell Stevenson, MSGA Seedstock Chair. "Our goal is to distribute the directory to every possible outlet to market Montana's superior cattle and businesses." Priority pages for the directory are auctioned off during MSGA's annual convention held in December each year. This year's priority page buyers include Basin Angus, Churchill Cattle Company, Cooper Hereford Ranch, Dutton Hereford Ranch, Eaton Charolais, Ehlke Herefords, Erickson Financial Strategies, Garrison Quarter Horses and Herefords, Gartner-Denowh Angus Ranch, Gateway Simmental, Harrison Land & Livestock, Holden Herefords, KG Ranch, Ludvickson Stock Farms, Northern Livestock Video Auction, PEDE & Associates, Reminisce Angus, Rollin' Rock Angus, Sitz Angus, Stevenson Genetics and Talon Ranch. The Montana Seedstock and Commercial Cattle Directory is also searchable on line at www.mtbeef.org.
