Grazeland Farms tour set for June 24

Missouri

University of Missouri Extension and the Grundy County Soil and Water Conservation District will conduct a tour of Grazeland Farms, a pasture-based egg and meat production farm near Jamesport, Mo., 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., June 24.

The tour was originally scheduled for May 27 but was postponed due to weather.

The tour will demonstrate management tools funded by a grant from a Missouri Department of Natural Resources program promoting projects to reduce nonpoint-source water pollution.

Grazeland Farms is on Route WW, about one mile east of Highway 6 northeast of Jamesport, Mo.

For more information, call the Grundy County SWCD at 660-359-5685. If rain seems likely, call the SWCD to confirm that the tour will go on as scheduled.
