Tractor parade bill moving to Missouri governorJEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP)--Legislation designed to clear the way for farm tractor parades is moving to the governor. Currently, farm tractors are only allowed on state highways when traveling between fields, but charities hold tractor parades to help raise money. The legislation approved by the House on May 5 would allow the superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol to approve tractor parades held during daylight hours by licensed drivers. The bill also exempts tractors in approved parades from width, length, height and license plate requirements.
