Compared to last week, slaughter lambs sold mostly $4 to $6 lower. Slaughter ewes and feeder lambs, again were too few in any weight group for an accurate trend to be established. Receipts included about 74% slaughter lambs, 10% slaughter ewes, 10% feeder lambs and the balance was bucks and miscellaneous sheep. Buyer attendance was good with moderate to good demand. Slaughter lambs: Shorn Choice 2 to 3, 27 head, 133 lbs., 98.00. Wooled Choice and Prime 2 to 3, 132 to 141 lbs., 99.00 to 101.00 (100.61). Wooled Choice 1 to 3, 6 head, 108 lbs., 96.00; 62 head, 122 lbs., 95.50; 17 head, 141 lbs., 97.00. Slaughter ewes: Good 3 to 4, fleshy, 15 head, 201 to 203 lbs., 27.00 to 32.00 (29.99). Utility and Good 2 to 4, Medium flesh to fleshy, 9 head, 199 lbs., 23.00. Utility 1 to 2, Medium flesh, 13 head, 128 to 140 lbs., 15.00 to 19.00 (17.17).
