4-H Trailblazer Club place at District Horse Show

The Trailblazers 4-H Club had several members compete at the SW District Horse Show in Duncan, Okla., recently. Those attending were Kylie Stowers, Leslie Annis, Josh Roberts, Katelyn Moser and Lauren Whatley. They qualified for the state competition in Halter, Trail, Western Pleasure, Western Horsemanship, Reining, Pole Bending and Barrels. The State Horse Show was held in Shawnee, Okla., at the Expo Center on June 18 to 20.

Individual results were: Leslie Annis, 8th in barrel racing; Katelyn Moser, 4th and Josh Roberts 10th in Halter Mares 6 years and over; Kylie Stowers, 6th in Halter Geldings 5 years old; Kylie Stowers, 1st and Reserve Champion and Leslie Annis state qualifier in Halter Geldings, 6 years and over. Leslie Annis, 9th in Trail; Lauren Whatley, state qualifier in Western Pleasure (9-11); Leslie Annis, 10th and Josh Roberts, state qualifier in Western Pleasure (15 and over). Leslie Annis 9th and Josh Roberts 10th in Western Horsemanship (15 and 0ver); Josh Roberts 6th in Reining.
