Mow a lotta grass --in comfort and safetyWhen GoBob decides they want to add a product to their line, you can be assured a lot of research goes into selecting the best one available. "We always want to sell the best and be able to prove it." says Bob Studebaker, owner of GoBob Pipe and Steel Sales and G&B Tractor Company "That is why when we went looking for a zero turn radius mower line, we chose Yard Shark." Studebaker went on to explain that most of their customers are engaged in farming or ranching and those kinds of folks are not always looking for the cheapest products but those that have the best value. Meaning durability, ease of use, maintenance and the comfort of the operator. For me, the first thing that jumped out at me when I saw these Yard Shark machines was how sleek and nimble they looked. For a middle-aged guy with a testy back, I really appreciated the seat. It has a suspension that is adjusted to operator weight (no more teeth jarring when I hit a bump); it is adjustable six ways and even has lumbar support. The other thing I immediately noticed was that I did not have to step over the mower deck. Yard Shark's deck is made to step on. It is heavy 7-gauge with double thick 1-inch reinforcement from the trim side to discharge side and triple layered 7-gauge steel reinforcement at the chute. Studebaker explains that Turbo high-lift design of the deck eliminates wet grass clumping and has a 10 year warranty. I personally hate it when grass clumps when I'm mowing. I was also amazed out how low the unit was. It was obvious this Yard Shark mower has the lowest center of gravity I have seen. This makes for greater speed and safety when mowing slopes. The features just go on and on and the aluminum tread plate it is trimmed with really looks sharp too. I strongly recommend this mower.
