Woods is past president of the Curry County Farm Bureau and an officer of the state bureau. The Woods family farm has been operating for 100 years since it was homesteaded in 1908.

York is president of the Grant County Farm and Livestock Bureau. He and his wife operate an apple, vegetable and fruit farm in the Mimbres Valley.
