NALF welcomes Garrick to member services postThe North American Limousin Foundation has a new member services specialist. Erin Garrick joined the staff Jan. 5. Her primary responsibilities will be genomics-oriented member services and animal recording. Garrick majored in animal science and agricultural business at Colorado State University, and she graduated with a bachelor's degree in December 2008. She also studied at Massey University in New Zealand, where she maintains dual citizenship. Among her varied work experiences, she has been an employee of the CSU Animal Reproduction and Biotechnology Laboratory, Massey University Agricultural Services, and Leachman Cattle of Colorado. "We are excited to have Erin join our team," said Kent Andersen, Ph.D., executive vice president for NALF. "She is an intelligent, detail-oriented, young professional; and her reliability, enthusiasm and work ethic are sure to be of valuable service to our members." The North American Limousin Foundation (www.nalf.org), headquartered in Centennial, Colo., provides programs and services--including genetic evaluation of 5,000 active sires--to more than 4,000 members and their commercial customers.
