CCA members "Recruiting for the Cure"

Colorado

The Colorado Cattlemen's Association is partnering with eight affiliated businesses to increase membership and give back to the Colorado community by donating $80 to breast cancer research for each new member recruited through the month of January.

Each member who recruits a new member will receive a special pink-ribbon CCA lapel pin showing that they are "Recruiting for the Cure." For each eight members recruited by a current CCA member during the campaign, the recruiter will receive a limited-edition, pink CCA shirt.

Breast cancer has directly affected many families in the extended CCA family. It will continue to affect women, and even some men, until a cure can be found. This is a chance for each member of CCA to do their part for the women in their lives, while spreading the importance of joining an association such as CCA.

Scott Wills, CCA Membership Committee Co-Chair asks, "Can you, our membership, put your nose to the grindstone and recruit one new member? CCA needs more members to present a larger voice to our state and national legislators. Let's make a difference for CCA and breast cancer research during January."

Thank you to the following businesses and organizations, who have agreed to contribute $10 each for each new member recruited during the specified period:

--Silveus Insurance Group;

--Rocky Mountain Financial Group;

--Colorado Home and Ranch;

--Farm Bureau Insurance - Kiowa;

--Re/Max Alliance;

--Cattlemen's Choice Loomix, LLC;

--Agridyne;

--Colorado Cattlemen's Association.

Colorado Cattlemen's Association is the state's only nonprofit trade organization exclusively representing Colorado's cattle producers. Founded in 1867, CCA is the nation's oldest state cattlemen's association.
