Fertility management school March 5Kansas Does shifting to no-till change fertilizer requirements? What about applying micronutrients? Should producers vary fertilizer in response to volatile commodity prices? Learn the answers to these questions at a Fertility Management School that will be held March 5 starting at 6 p.m., at the Lane County Fairgrounds in Dighton. Topics that will be covered include: no-till and conventional fertility management, macronutrients and micronutrients, fertilizer application, and allocating fertilizer with volatile market and fertilizer prices. Speakers include: Brian Olson, K-State Crops Specialist NW Area, Dorivar Ruiz-Diaz, K-State Fertility Specialist and David Coltrain, Walnut Creek Extension Agent.
