National Western funds 71 scholarshipsThe National Western Stock Show organizes and produces several events annually to benefit the National Western Scholarship Trust. This year, the trust awarded 71 grants for the 2009-2010 school year. These grants range from $2,500 to $6,000 and are presented to students studying agriculture and medicine for practice in rural areas, at colleges in Colorado and Wyoming.
