Producers seeking pasture for rent can access website

Those with pasture to rent or seeking pasture can list or find what is available by going to the Wyoming Hay List website at www.wyohaylist.com.

The pasture section has been made more prominent. "Pasture has always been available on the hay list website, but it was not highlighted," said Scott Keith, livestock and forage program manager with the Wyoming Business Council. "It was hidden under the alfalfa or hay section. As a result, lots of people didn't know it was there."

Brand inspectors through the years have always fielded queries from producers seeking pasture, said Lee Romsa, state brand commissioner with the Wyoming Livestock Board.¬  Collaboration between the Wyoming Livestock Board and Wyoming Business Council resulted in the pasture section being added.
