Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., April 23, reported estimated receipts of 3,300 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers 650 to 950 pounds were $2 to $3 higher, heifers 550 to 900 pounds were firm. Feeder steers under 650 pounds and heifers under 550 pounds not enough for a market test as of 3 p.m.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 7 head, 441 lbs., 130.00; 15 482 lbs., 128.50; 5 head, 537 lbs., 118.00; 43 head, 563 lbs., 123.60; 600 to 650 lbs., 109.50 to 112.00, 21 head, fancy 605 lbs., 119.00; 12 head, 686 lbs., 109.50; 700 to 750 lbs., 96.75 to 108.00; 53 head, fancy 712 lbs., 108.10; 750 to 800 lbs., 97.85 to 102.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 97.25 to 100.60; 850 to 900 lbs., 95.50 to 98.00, 900 to 950 lbs., 92.25 to 96.00; 950 to 1000 lbs., 90.00 to 93.75.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 450 to 500 lbs., 111.00 to 112.00; 500 to 550 lbs., 107.50 to 112.00; 550 to 600 lbs., 98.00 to 101.50, 4 head, Fancy 558 lbs., 106.00; 600 to 650 lbs., 97.00 to 100.25; 650 to 700 lbs., 93.00 to 94.60; 700 to 750 lbs., 92.00 to 96.25; 750 to 800 lbs., 88.00 to 91.60 800 to 850 lbs., 84.25 to 88.75; 850 to 900 lbs., 83.50 to 89.75.
