Juniors parade Angus champs at Houston show

Junior Angus exhibitors showed 154 Angus heifers at the 2009 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo's Junior Angus Show, March 21 in Houston, Texas. John Rayfield, Raleigh, N.C., evaluated the entries before selecting champions.

CCC Miss Midnight 8179 GEYE claimed grand champion female title. Emory Geye, Rising Star, Texas, owns the February 2008 daughter of DAJS All Star M243 and first won calf champion.

Dan Crownover, Italy, Texas, led the reserve grand champion female. DAJS Faline 422 is a July 2007 daughter of DAJS All Star M243 and earlier won junior champion.
