The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., April 9, reported estimated receipts of 4,800 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.
Compared with last weeks light receipts, feeder steers 650 to 900 pounds were $4 to $6 higher, 900 to 1050 pounds were $2 to $3 higher, 650 pounds and under in a limited supply were $6 to $8 higher, heifers 700 to 900 pounds were $4 to $5 higher, 700 pounds and under in a limited supply were $2 to $6 higher.
Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 7 head, 496 lbs., 122.00; 6 head, 593 lbs., 109.50; 600 to 650 lbs., 111.00 to 113.50; 650 to 700 lbs., 103.00 to 111.50; 700 to 750 lbs., 101.00 to 104.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 97.25 to 99.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 93.50 to 97.75; 850 to 900 lbs., 87.00 to 94.50, 62 head, value added 856 lbs., 96.10; 900 to 950 lbs., 86.50 to 92.00, 35 head, fancy 916 to 921 lbs., 94.75 to 97.85, 59 head, value added 936 lbs., 91.00; 950 to 1000 lbs., 87.25 to 88.10; 1000 to 1050 lbs., 85.50 to 86.75.
Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 400 to 450 lbs., 114.00 to 116.50; 102 head, 490 lbs., 114.50; 500 to 550 lbs., 106.50 to 112.00; 550 to 600 lbs., 94.00 to 100.00; 600 to 650 lbs., 101.75 to 103.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 90.00 to 97.50; 700 to 750 lbs., 91.00 to 95.50; 750 to 800 lbs., 88.50 to 90.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 87.00 to 88.60; 850 to 900 lbs., 84.00 to 87.75.
