Auctioneer: JC Barr Averages: 21 fall Angus bulls, $2,733; 48 spring Angus bulls, $2,433; 13 spring Balancer bulls, $2,226. There were many repeat customers. Bulls sired by Mytty In Focus were in high demand--Rod Swafford. Profit Maker Bulls Buy Them or Lease Them Bull Sale Feb. 27 and 28 Ogallala, Neb. Auctioneers: Dean and Kyle Schow Profit Maker Bulls offered a unique opportunity for bull customers, buyers could purchase the lease of the bull for 90 days during the breeding season or double up the winning bid price and receive ownership of the bull. The average on 104 bulls that sold was $2514 per head. High seller was feature lot D-PMB In Focus by Mytty In Focus. Selling to Darrin Lanham, Nelson, Neb., for $6,800. A total of 316 leased bulls averaged $1,220 for the 90-day lease. The highest leased bull was lot 304 PMB Objective 8006 by SS Objective T510 OT 26 to H & S Ranch Wamsutter, Wyo. Buyers from 15 states bought or leased bulls. Bidding was steady throughout the offering both live from the PM Sales Center, and via Superior Video and Internet bidding--Rod Swafford. Total Package Bull Sale March 23 Freedom, Okla. Auctioneer: Jim Birdwell Averages: 143 Angus bulls sold; 65 fall yearlings, $3,296; 78 spring yearlings, $2,307; 58 commercial heifers, $885. The high selling bulls were led by Lot 4, LD Objective 7008, a September 2007 son of SS Objective T510 0T26, which sold to James Jahay, Hazelton, Kan., for $5,750. Lot 1, LD112777, a September 2007 son of Rito 112 of 2536 Rito 616 sold to Mark Sherman, Coldwater, Kan., for $5,500. Lot 68, LD Predestined 8411, a February 2008 son of GAR Predestined sold to Mike Jones, Wilemore, Kan., for $5,500. Lot 32, LD 004 Traveler 73, a September 2007 son of SAV 8108 Traveler 004 sold to Mike Myers, Hardtner, Kan., for $5,000--Ken Rockenbach.
