Sioux Falls

The Sioux Falls feeder pig auction, Sioux Falls, S.D., reported receipts of 76 head Sept. 2, compared to 249 head last sale and 1,912 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D.

The offering of feeder pigs too few for a meaningful comparison. Buyer attendance light with light demand. All sales were based on actual weight and by the head.

U.S. 1 to 2: 63 head, 41 lbs., 19.50 to 21.00 (20.43).

U.S. 1 to 3: 13 head, 58 lbs., 25.50.
