Ford County Farm Bureau Association awards three scholarships

The Ford County Farm Bureau Association has awarded three scholarships for the fall semester of 2008. The recipients of the agriculture scholarships are Travis Goetz, Dodge City, who will be attending Fort Hays University and Adam Stegman, Spearville, who will be attending Dodge City Community College.

The Ford County Farm Bureau also sponsors a nursing scholarship for someone attending Dodge City Community College; this semester's recipient is Dalton Burkhard from Dodge City. To receive this scholarship one must be a member of the Ford County Farm Bureau, a full-time student and maintain a 2.5 grade point average.
